From precision rebuilds to high-performance street builds — McCord Transmission and Performance delivers the kind of craftsmanship that keeps Augusta rolling for the long haul.
Every job we take on gets the same level of care — because your vehicle's reliability isn't something you compromise on.
Complete teardown, inspection, and rebuild using quality components — so your transmission runs smoother than the day it left the lot.
Advanced diagnostics to pinpoint the issue fast — no guesswork, no unnecessary part swapping. We fix it right the first time.
Whether you need a daily driver that shifts crisp or a build that handles serious horsepower — we design transmissions for the way you drive.
Transmission flushes, fluid replacements, and filter changes using the specifications your manufacturer intended — not a guess.
Commercial and heavy-duty transmission work for trucks and diesel applications — built to withstand the demands of real work.
Got a unique build or a problem the books don't cover? We enjoy the tough ones — bring us your challenge.
McCord Transmission and Performance is Augusta's destination for transmission work done right. We're not a franchise, a chain, or a shop that treats every vehicle the same — we're a local team that takes pride in the reputation we've built, one drivetrain at a time.
From routine maintenance to full custom performance builds, every project that rolls into our bay gets the same standard: thorough diagnostics, honest recommendations, and work we'd be proud to put under our own vehicles.
Located on Wilkinson Road, we've earned the trust of Augusta drivers who know the difference between a quick fix and a proper repair — and prefer the latter.
"We treat every vehicle like it's our own."
We tell you what your vehicle actually needs — not what's most expensive. No upselling, no pressure, just straight answers.
We use reputable parts from trusted manufacturers — because a rebuild is only as good as the components inside it.
We communicate realistic timelines and keep you updated — because your vehicle is part of your daily life, not just another ticket.
We're your neighbors in Augusta. Our reputation depends on every car that leaves our bay — that's not something we take lightly.
Whether it's a warning light, a rough shift, or a performance build you've been planning — give us a call. We'll give it our full attention.
